Job summary

Servant’s Heart in Greensboro, NC is seeking mature, well-organized staff to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our day program.

Flexible hours 8am-4pm, Mon-Fri, with sign-on and monthly bonuses. We provide required trainings (CPR, First Aid, etc.) at hire and ongoing. Benefits include health, dental, and life insurance for full-time staff, plus paid vacation after one year.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to manage goals of multiple individuals and families on a timely basis.
• Complete and maintain current trainings.
• Ability to pass Background Check/Healthcare Registry Check.
• Attend monthly mandatory staff meetings/training sessions when scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Follow individual's Plan of Care and complete daily documentation.
• Administer medication to clients and communicate with medical professionals.
• Assist with daily chores and personal hygiene for clients.
• Interact professionally with the Department of Social Services, Parents, and staff.

We will help prospective applicants obtain required training. Must have specific trainings (CPR, First Aid, NCI, Med. Admin., etc.) which will be provided when hired.

Essential Duties:

• Work with other staff members to ensure that the individual's Plan of Care is followed and documentation is completed on daily.
• Administer medication to clients in facilities and communicate with medical professionals.
• Assist client with daily chores and personal hygiene care by providing care for the persons served.
• Interact professionally with the Department of Social Services, Parents, and other staff as needed
