Job summary

Homes for Independent Living of Wisconsin LLC is seeking caregivers to support clients with daily living activities, safety, and well-being in a home-care setting. You will assist with meals, personal care, mobility, and basic health monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health, safety, and wellbeing of all clients.

• Provide mobility and personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Responsibilities: Assure the health, safety, and well-being of all clients Administer positive behavioral redirection and encourage self-coping mechanisms Assist with daily living activities as needed based on care plans Assist with food preparation and cleaning as needed Maintain positive relationships with clients, guardians, and staff Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with supervisor or case manager. Provide patients with help moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles and with dressing and grooming. Bathe patients. Care for patients by changing bed linens, washing and ironing laundry, cleaning, or assisting with their personal care. Entertain, converse with, or read aloud to patients to keep them mentally healthy and alert. Administer prescribed oral medications, under the written direction of physician or as directed by home care nurse or aide, and ensure patients take their medicine.

OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
