Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management is hiring for a Day Shift Caregiver in Prescott, AZ. This full-time, in-person role runs 6am–6pm with weekend availability, offering flexible scheduling and training opportunities.

You will assist residents with ADLs, monitor health, and maintain documentation while delivering compassionate support and companionship. Benefits include paid sick time, paid training, health, and dental/vision coverage.

Qualifications

• Caregiver certification as required by state law.
• TB screening, fingerprint clearance, and CPR/First Aid training preferred.
• Experience in long-term care a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Monitor residents' health and safety, report changes promptly.
• Assist with medication administration per care plans and HIPAA compliance.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, vital signs, and incidents.
• Provide emotional support, companionship, and engaging activities to enhance quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support

• Monitor residents’ health and safety by observing patient conditions and reporting changes promptly

• Assist with medication administration following care plans and HIPAA privacy regulations- We do train caregivers as Medication Technicians.

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities, vital signs, and incident reports in compliance with healthcare standards

• Support residents’ emotional well-being through engaging activities, companionship, and respectful communication
