Job summary

Merrill Gardens at Sheldon Park is seeking caring Caregivers to support residents in a senior living community. You will assist with daily activities, support wellness, and help create an atmosphere of dignity and respect.

No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training. Full-time and part-time roles are available, with benefits and opportunities for advancement within a family-owned company.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.
• No experience required; training provided for the right person.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and complete daily progress reports.
• Complete progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often as needed.

Our Caregivers:

If you are someone with:

• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.
• No experience necessary for caregivers as we will provide training for the right person.

The pay range for this position will vary based on qualifications, experience, education/additional licensure, and other objective factors. Hiring at the maximum is not typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth

Physical Requirements:

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
