Job summary

Home Instead Long Beach is seeking compassionate in-home caregivers to support seniors in our community. You’ll provide personal care, companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping, and safe transportation, helping clients stay independent in the comfort of their homes.

Qualifications

• Availability to work at least 20 hours per week.
• Negative TB test and Livescan clearance.
• Prior caregiving experience (IHSS) preferred.

• Meaningful Connections: Engage with clients through conversations, games, walks, and other activities to brighten their day.
• Other Duties: Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Transportation: Safely drive clients to appointments or run errands as needed.

Requirements

• Availability to work at least 20 hours per week. Weekend and overnight availability are a plus and those shifts have a premium!
• A negative TB test and Livescan clearance (we’ll guide you through this).
• Prior caregiving experience (including IHSS) is preferred.
