Job summary

Affordable Family Care Services - Charlotte in Concord, NC seeks a compassionate caregiver to support an elderly client. You will provide personal care, transportation to dialysis, meal prep, and mobility assistance in the home.

The role requires a reliable vehicle, valid license, TB test, background and drug checks, and E-Verify eligibility. Shifts are 6 hours, 7 days a week, with benefits including wellness, education, and overtime.

Qualifications

• Access to reliable transportation to and from work.

• You must have a valid drivers license.
• You will need a current TB
• You must pass a Background & Drug check & be E-Verify employable.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
• Remind clients to take prescribed medication
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctors appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist with personal care and hygiene
• Plan and prepare meals
• Complete clients shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

This female client will require transportation to her dialysis appointments. 6-hour shifts, 7 days a week.
