Job summary

BrightStar Care of Novi is seeking caregivers with experience to support older adults in their homes in the Novi, MI area. Competitive pay, flexible shifts, and a generous benefits package are offered.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, accompanying clients to appointments, and documenting changes for the RN Care Coordinator. High school diploma or GED and reliable transportation required; full-time and part-time positions available.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with mobility as per plan of care.

Responsibilities

• Accompany clients to grocery stores, doctor appointments, and pharmacy visits.
• Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, ambulation, and transfers.
• Document observed changes to RN Care Coordinator per plan of care.

BrightStar Care of Novi is looking for an individual who has caregiver or home health aide experience providing care for older adults: aiding with hygiene, errands, and day-to-day assistance in their homes.

Both full-time and part-time hours available!

Responsibilities:

• Accompany clients to the grocery store, doctor appointments, and pharmacy visits
• Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, ambulation, and transfers
• Assisting client with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care, and documenting observed changes to the RN Care Coordinator

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable Transportation
• Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality
• Negative drug screen and background check
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate effectively
• Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
