Job summary

ComForCare Home Care - Richmond/Glen Allen is seeking compassionate in-home caregivers for part-time roles. You will provide companionship, meal prep, errands, and safe transportation to activities, helping clients stay independent at home.

Flexible scheduling supports work/life balance; same-day pay is available, and advancement and training opportunities are noted. Compensation is $20 per hour for this position.

Responsibilities

• Companionship and social engagement with the client.
• Prepare meals and assist with diets as needed.
• Shop for groceries and run errands.
• Transport to appointments and activities.
• Perform homemaking tasks including cleaning and laundry.

Duties:

• Companionship, socializing with the client, purposeful engagement.
• Cooking, meal and snack preparation, measuring and preparing special diets.
• Shopping (grocery, household, other) and running errands.
• Transport to and from appointments, shopping and/or other activities.
• Perform homemaking activities including (but may not be limited to) dusting, vacuuming, sweeping or mopping floors, cleaning of common areas including kitchen and bathrooms, washing dishes, doing laundry, changing bed.
