Job summary

ComForCare Home Care - Richmond/Glen Allen is looking for compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home support. The role includes companionship, meal preparation, and light homemaking to support clients at home.

Competitive hourly pay of 15–17 USD plus flexibility with full- or part-time schedules. Short commute to cases and same-day pay options are emphasized in the posting.

Qualifications

• Experience in in-home care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Prepare meals and snacks per dietary needs and preferences.
• Assist with grocery shopping and household errands as needed.
• Transport clients to appointments, activities, and errands.
• Perform homemaking tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and basic housekeeping.

Duties

• Companionship, socializing with the client, purposeful engagement.
• Cooking, meal and snack preparation, measuring and preparing special diets.
• Shopping (grocery, household, other) and running errands.
• Transport to and from appointments, shopping and/or other activities.
• Perform homemaking activities including (but may not be limited to) dusting, vacuuming, sweeping or mopping floors, cleaning of common areas including kitchen and bathrooms, washing dishes, doing laundry, changing bed.
