Caregiver/CNA/PCA/RA (Full-Time)(2nd shift) - Chatham Ridge

Chatham Ridge Assisted Living, part of Navion Senior Living in Chapel Hill, is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Personal Care Aides (PCA), and Resident Care Aides (RCA) to provide exceptional resident care and support on a daily basis. The role involves compassionate care, assistance with activities of daily living, and responding to residents' emotional and physical needs.

This is a Full-Time position for the 2nd shift, supporting our residents!

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information in accordance with HIPAA
• Assist with daily activities such as turning, ambulating, and delivering food and beverages
• Support with personal hygiene tasks like bathing and providing bedpans
• Deliver adjunct care such as ice packs, dressings, and soothing baths post-therapy
• Monitor and record food and fluid intake, and urinary and fecal outputs for medical staff
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and caregivers, processing relevant information
• Follow infection control protocols and safety procedures
• Be familiar with fire and emergency procedures and report safety violations

Requirements

• Passion for caring for the senior population
• High School diploma or GED
• State Certified Nursing Assistant Certification
• Current CPR Certification (American Heart Association) preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with team members and health professionals
• Maintain professionalism and composure in high-pressure situations
