Job summary

Senior Helpers is looking for compassionate, dependable Caregivers to provide quality in-home care to seniors throughout Horry and Georgetown counties, SC. You will provide companionship, assist with daily living activities, prepare meals, and help clients maintain independence and dignity.

Applicants must have a valid driver's license and their own reliable vehicle. Pay ranges from $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, with benefits including PTO after 90 days, daily pay options, ongoing training,

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• MUST HAVE YOUR OWN RELIABLE VEHICLE AND DEPENDABLE TRANSPORTATION. This is a firm requirement for employment.
• Valid driver's license.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional.
• Willingness to provide hands-on personal care.
• Ability to follow care plans and communicate effectively.
• Availability to work flexible schedules.
• Weekend availability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
• Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Encourage independence while offering compassionate support.

Our clients depend on their caregivers to arrive on time and provide essential care. Missed shifts due to transportation issues can leave clients without the assistance they need for their safety and well-being.

Having your own reliable vehicle and dependable transportation is a requirement, not an option. You must be able to consistently get to scheduled shifts without depending on someone else's availability or unpredictable rides.

We understand that unexpected emergencies happen, but recurring transportation issues or an inability to reliably get to work are not acceptable for this position. Our clients depend on us, and dependable attendance is essential to their care.
