Job summary

Senior Helpers is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide quality in‑home care to seniors in Horry and Georgetown counties, SC. The role focuses on companionship, daily living assistance, and promoting independence in a supportive home environment.

Pay ranges from $16.00 to $18.00 per hour with benefits after 90 days, including health, dental, vision, life, short‑term disability, and a 401(k). Weekend availability may be required to meet client schedules.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional
• Willingness to provide hands‑on personal care
• Ability to follow care plans and communicate effectively
• Availability to work flexible schedules
• Weekend availability is a plus, as some client schedules may require weekend care

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction
• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needs
• Provide hands‑on assistance with activities of daily living
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
• Perform light housekeeping and help maintain a safe environment
• Provide medication reminders
• Encourage independence while offering compassionate support
