Position Overview

Job Summary

The Resident Care Associate (RCA) is responsible for providing general non-certified routine services in accordance with the established procedures and may be directed by your supervisors.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assists with housekeeping and laundry services including trash removal and making/changing unoccupied beds.
• Assists with meal service, including transporting residents, tray delivery, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Answers resident call lights promptly and checks on residents unable to call for help.
• Assists with 1:1 observations as assigned.
• Maintains communication with Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse regarding resident condition, concerns, and grievances.
• Provides excellent customer service, companionship, and engagement in activities.
• Helps make residents comfortable and assists with personal care responsibilities according to state guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
