Position Overview

Job Summary

The Resident Care Associate (RCA) is responsible for providing general non-certified routine services in accordance with established procedures and may be directed by supervisors.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Assist with housekeeping and laundry services, including trash removal and making/changing beds.
2. Assist with meal service, including transportation of residents, tray delivery, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
3. Respond promptly to resident call lights.
4. Check on residents who are unable to call for help frequently.
5. Assist with 1:1 observations as assigned.
6. Communicate with Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse about resident condition changes, concerns, and grievances.
7. Provide excellent customer service, companionship, and engagement in activities.
8. Assist clinical staff to ensure residents' comfort, such as checking sitting positions and hydration.
9. Assist with personal care responsibilities following state regulatory guidelines.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
