Senior Helpers West Jacksonville is seeking a caring caregiver to support seniors in their homes in Fruit Cove, FL. The role emphasizes kindness, patience, and respect while assisting with daily activities, meals, and mobility. You will document client updates and contribute to quality home care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months caregiving experience preferred.
• Current in-person CPR certification required.
• CNA or HHA certification welcomed.
• Pass Level II background screening.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide a helping hand to clients.
• Engage in conversations to build relationships.
• Participate in clients’ hobbies and daily activities.
• Prepare meals for clients to enjoy.
• Assist with walking, dressing, bathing and other activities of daily living.
• Document completed activities and report updates on clients' physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior.
