Job summary

Senior Helpers North Metro is hiring caregivers in Minnesota to provide in-home care that enhances quality of life for aging clients. Flexible shifts from four hours to 12 hours, including 24/7 client coverage, are available, with a focus on compassionate, empathetic assistance and consistent, person-centered care.

Pay ranges from $19 to $21 per hour, with benefits such as training, orientation, and opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs (bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, mobility).
• 1:1 caregiver to client ratio and companionship through activities and conversation.
• Perform meal preparation and light household tasks.
• Document completion of tasks and report changes in client condition.

Senior Helpers North Metro is hiring for our caregiver position. If you have experience in assisted living facilities, independent living facilities, senior living facilities, nursing homes, home care or healthcare, or have experience as a caregiver, we’d love for you to join our team. We are hiring for any caregiver located in Andover, Anoka, Blaine, Coon Rapids, Champlin, Circle Pines, Elk River, Ham Lake, Lino Lakes, Otsego, Ramsey, or the surrounding areas.

Pay Range: $19 - $21 per hour

Responsibilities

Assist with all Activates of Daily Living (ADLs) as assigned. This could include assistance with bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, and mobility.

• 1:1 caregiver to client ratio

Provide companionship and emotional support by engaging in conversation, building a rapport and participating in client hobbies or activities.

Perform household tasks such as meal preparation and tidying up.

• Administrative functions such as documentation of completion of tasks and reporting changes in the client's physical condition, mental capability or behavior.

Preferred: Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, medical and nursing assistance and/or CNA/HHA/PCA certification.
