Job summary

Right at Home is seeking a part-time Caregiver CNA/HCA for daytime weekday shifts in Washington state. The role focuses on compassionate in-home care, including companionship, mobility assistance, and daily living tasks.

Competitive pay and weekly pay are offered, with paid training and opportunities for referrals. Applicants must hold a WA HCA/CNA credential or be in training, have a valid driver’s license, and be comfortable working in homes with dogs.

Qualifications

• Must have Washington HCA or CNA credential or be enrolled in an HCA/CNA program.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable car, and current auto insurance.
• Comfortable working in a home with a dog.
• Available Monday–Friday, 4 or 6 hour daytime shifts.
• Able to pass Washington State background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship through conversation, reading, music, and activities.
• Assist client with walking, mobility, and safe transfers.
• Help with bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Prepare meals and snacks; encourage hydration.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Support range of motion exercises per care plan.
• Perform light homemaking: dishes, laundry, linens, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning.
• Drive client to appointments and run errands.
• Support clients living with dementia.

Part-time. Weekday daytime shifts.
$21.30 to $25.00 per hour, based on experience. Paid every week.

• You have a Washington Home Care Aide (HCA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential, or you are currently enrolled in an HCA or CNA class.

• You have a valid driver's license, a reliable car, and current car insurance.

• You are comfortable working in a home with a dog.

• You can work Monday to Friday, 4 or 6 hour daytime shifts.

• You can pass a Washington State background check. State law requires this for all home care workers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Keep your client company with conversation, reading, music, and puzzles

• Help your client walk, move and transfer safely around the home

• Help with bathing, showering, dressing and grooming

• Make meals and snacks, and remind your client to drink water

WE ALSO LOOK FOR

• Experience caring for a person living with dementia (preferred)

• High school diploma or GED (preferred)

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
