ComForCare Home Care is hiring caregivers to support a wheelchair-dependent young adult in Berkeley, CA. You will assist with daily living activities, transfers, and provide companionship, with shifts offered part-time or full-time.

We value a caring attitude, reliable transportation, and prior caregiving or CNA experience. Fluency in English is required; flexible scheduling is available across Mon-Sun, including evenings.

Qualifications

• A genuine caring attitude and understanding of client needs and emotions.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Previous caregiving or CNA experience.
• Experience with transfers and wheelchair care.

Responsibilities

• Assist wheelchair-dependent young adult male with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Transfer using gait belt or hoyer lift.
• Properly manage household needs.
• Provide companionship.
• Available shifts: part-time or full-time, choose from Mon-Sun 4pm-11pm or 11pm-9am.
