Job summary

Village Caregiving in Chapmanville, WV is seeking compassionate and dedicated In-home Caregivers to provide quality care to clients in surrounding areas. This part-time hourly position offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for training in the healthcare field.

You will assist with daily living activities, accompany clients to appointments, and maintain a high quality of life while working independently in clients' homes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in caregiving, home health, or related field preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Compassionate and empathetic towards clients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services such as bathing, grooming, and dressing to clients in their homes.
• Assist with meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
• Accompany clients to appointments and outings as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in health status to supervisor.
• Maintain a positive and compassionate attitude towards clients and coworkers.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure client well‑being.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Attend training and educational sessions to enhance caregiving skills.

Village Caregiving in Chapmanville, WV is seeking compassionate and dedicated In-home Caregivers to provide quality care to clients in surrounding areas. The surrounding areas include Logan, McDowell, Mingo, and Wyoming County.This is a part-time hourly position in the healthcare/medical field and requires an individual contributor who is comfortable working independently. The In-home Caregiver will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities and ensuring they receive the care and support they need to maintain a high quality of life.
