Job summary

Cleveland is seeking a compassionate caregiver in Ohio to assist clients with daily living tasks, medication reminders, mobility support, and personal care in-home settings. You will work closely with family and healthcare providers to ensure safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include monitoring health conditions, helping with mobility, and performing light housekeeping and meal prep while following dietary needs.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required.
• Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Housekeeping and cooking with attention to dietary constraints.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside.
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other exercises.
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers and family.
• Report any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors and family.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals
• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required

• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks
• High school diploma or equivalent
