Villagecaregiving is seeking compassionate caregivers in Norwalk, Ohio, to assist clients with daily living activities and ensure their comfort. Responsibilities include supporting clients with mobility, personal care, and light housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals
• Report any unusual incidents to office staff.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required
• Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification preferred but not required
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks
• High school diploma or equivalent
