Job summary

Village Caregiving - Clarksburg, WV is seeking compassionate caregivers to support clients at home. You will assist with ambulation, personal care, mobility to appointments, and light housekeeping while following care plans.

The role emphasizes empathy, clear communication with clients, families, and medical staff, and adherence to health and safety standards. Previous caregiving is preferred, CPR certification is required, and a high school diploma or equivalent is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required.
• Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints.
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner.
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills.
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed.

• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members.
• Report any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors and family members.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
