Job summary

Senior Helpers Parent Account is seeking a caring CNA caregiver to join our team and make a difference in seniors’ lives at home. We offer flexible scheduling, paid training, and opportunities for advancement as you help clients live independently with dignity.

As a CNA caregiver you will provide companionship, assist with ADLs, monitor well-being, and collaborate with the client’s care team to ensure high-quality, personalized home care in the Pittsboro area.

Qualifications

• CNA license is required.

Responsibilities

• Offer companionship and emotional support to our clients
• Assist with daily living activities including eating, walking, dressing, bathing, toileting, and other ADLs as needed
• Provide personal care support while maintaining client dignity and independence
• Observe and report changes in clients' physical, emotional, and mental well-being
• Collaborate with clients’ care team to provide updates and communicate important health changes
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation of client care and services provided

A Day in the Life of a Caregiver

In the simplest terms, a caregiver is a person who cares for another. When it comes to our team, caregivers play a vital role. Our caregivers are the driving force for positively improving the lives of seniors in our community. They make a direct impact in providing care to seniors who wish to age in the safety and comfort of their home instead of an assisted living facility, an independent living facility, a senior living community, or a nursing home.

Every client will have different needs that they require assistance with, but we make sure to match our clients and caregivers for the optimal fit. Care provided could include activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, eating, walking, bathing, toileting, and other self-care tasks. It could also include assisting with fun hobbies and games that a client enjoys. Our CNA caregivers may also provide hands‑on personal care and closely monitor clients for changes in condition, helping ensure they receive the highest quality care possible in their homes.
