General Summary

As a Caregiver (CNA/PCA), you will assist residents with their daily living routines under the indirect supervision of a Nurse or Supervisor, following established procedures and guidelines.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities
  • Perform Assisted Daily Living (ADL) duties to ensure residents’ cleanliness and comfort, such as transferring, mobility, bathing, changing briefs, peri-care, toileting, oral hygiene, grooming, dressing, and bed linen changes.
  • Assist residents in attending appointments, meals, activities, and other scheduled events, including pushing wheelchairs, assisting with walkers, and monitoring schedules.
  • Maintain accurate care records, shift summaries, and communications for co-workers to ensure continuity of care.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to regularly walk, stand, bend, stoop, or sit for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects/individuals weighing more than 50 lbs.
  • Focus on safety, detail, and accuracy for sustained periods.
Requirements
  • Annual flu vaccination is required, except for medical or religious exemptions.
