Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care in Cave Creek (Phoenix area) is seeking an In-Home Caregiver to provide compassionate, on-site personal care and companionship to clients in North Phoenix, North Scottsdale, and surrounding communities. You will work closely with a team to ensure clients’ needs are met while preserving independence and dignity.

This role offers 12-hour shifts (days/nights) and options for Full-Time or Part-Time schedules.

Qualifications

• DCW or CNA certification required; CNA preferred.
• Minimum of one year of professional caregiving experience.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Available 2-3 times per week.
• Must pass a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and companionship to clients in their homes.
• Assist with daily living activities such as light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Support morning and evening routines with comfort and dignity.
• Offer transportation assistance for appointments or errands.
• Provide hospice support and engage clients in enriching activities.

Role Overview

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our team to ensure that each client’s needs are met while maintaining their independence and dignity. Whether you're helping with personal care or companionship, you will play a vital part in enhancing the quality of life for our clients.

Qualifications

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Direct Care Worker Certification (DCW) or higher qualification (CNA preferred).

3. Compassionate and respectful attitude towards the elderly and disabled.
4. Must be available 2-3 times per week
5. Strong communication skills in English.
6. Ability to pass a drug test and background check.

Bonus If You

1. Have experience with hospice care.
2. Are trained in CPR and First Aid.
3. Possess additional certifications in caregiving.

Employment Type

This position is available as both Full-Time and Part-Time with various schedules available.

This position is on-site only, located in Phoenix, Arizona.
