Job summary

Village Caregiving - Green Bay in the United States is seeking a compassionate caregiver/CNA to join our growing team. The role focuses on providing high-quality, one-on-one support to clients in a home setting.

Evening, night and weekend shifts are available, with duties including personal care, medication assistance, mobility support, meal planning, light housekeeping and transportation as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in one-on-one care is preferred.
• Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Compassionate, supportive, and patient demeanor.
• Willing to work evenings, nights and weekends.
• Minimum 1 year in healthcare, home care, or CNA/HHA role.
• High school diploma or equivalent; CNA training preferred.
• Comfort with assisting with activities of daily living including hygiene and mobility.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for clients in daily living activities.
• Help with prescribed medications and ambulation support.
• Assist with mobility around home and during outings or doctor visits.
• Plan and prepare meals for clients.
• Assist with exercises prescribed by physical therapy.
• Complete shopping or accompany clients to appointments.
• Perform light housekeeping and report incidents promptly.
• Offer daily living activities and meal assistance as needed.

Monday - Friday 4p-12a and 12a-8a

Saturday and Sunday 7p-7a

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
• Help clients take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Plan and prepare meals
• Assist with physical therapy exercises
• Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
• Perform housekeeping dutiesReport any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that areessential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
• Supportive and compassionate
• High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver, CNA or HHA, or completion of a CNA Program
• Take pride in providing high quality care
• Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)
