Job summary

Pegasus Landing of Round Rock is seeking a caring Caregiver/Care Partner to support residents in our senior living community. This role focuses on compassionate daily assistance and companionship.

You will work with team members to deliver thoughtful care, communicate effectively in English with residents and staff, and comply with state certifications. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with transfers as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have active state caregiver certification.
• Minimum of one year of experience with older adults.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to regularly life and/or move up to 50 pounds independently and with assistance when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care and companionship to residents.
• Assist residents with daily living activities as required by care plans.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff in English.
• Maintain safety during mobility and transfers and follow care protocols.

Highlights of the Caregiver/Care Partner Position:

• Possesses applicable certifications as required by state
• A minimum of one-year relevant experience working with older adults (priority given)
• Ability to communicate effectively (in English), both verbally and in writing with residents and staff
• Must be able to regularly life and/or move up to 50 pounds independently and up to 190 pounds with assistance of a second employee and/or mechanical devices.
