Job summary

Always Best Care Senior Services is seeking a compassionate bilingual Mandarin-speaking caregiver to provide in-home care for seniors in Fremont and the surrounding areas, including Pleasanton, Dublin, Livermore, Newark, and Union City. The role requires effective communication in Mandarin and English and adherence to care plans.

Applicants should have caregiver experience or be willing to receive training, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 40+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Assist with mobility and transfers keeping client safe.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding per dietary needs.
• Remind and monitor medications as directed.
• Light housekeeping including laundry and cleaning.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in activities.
• Communicate with clients, family, and healthcare professionals in Mandarin and English.
• Document care and report changes promptly.

Always Best Care Senior Services in Pleasanton, CA is hiring a compassionate and dedicatedBilingual Mandarin Caregiver to provide exceptional in-home care to elderly clients in Fremont, including areas around Pleasanton, Dublin, Livermore, Newark, and Union City.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about improving the quality of life for seniors and can communicate effectively in both Mandarin and English.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance.
• Assist clients with mobility and transferring, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to dietary needs and preferences.
• Remind medications and monitor client health conditions as directed.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in conversation and activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals in both Mandarin and English.
• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition promptly.

Requirements

• Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English is required.
• Caregiver experience preferred but training is available.
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately.
