Qualifications

• Able to pass pre-employment physical/TB test.
• Obtain fingerprint clearance as required by licensure.
• Available to respond throughout the shift for GRC needs and activated emergency alarm system; assesses need for treatment (911).
• Makes rounds of the internal and external buildings and parking lots.
• Responds to GRC/independent emergency situations to resolve incidents that could harm personnel, residents, or visitors; calls for outside assistance as needed.
• Responds to emergency call systems and fire alarms; contains fire until fire department arrives and assists with crowd control.
• Inspect all areas of the facility for safety and fire hazards; documents findings and notifies supervisor and safety committee.
