Job summary

Avamere at Bethany in Portland, OR is seeking a Part-Time Caregiver for Assisted Living to support residents with daily living activities, emotional support, and safety. Shifts include Eve 2pm-10pm and NOC 10pm-6am.

The role requires prior memory care experience or caregiver experience, CPR/First Aid and Food Handler’s Card, and EMR documentation proficiency. Wage ranges per hour $18.58-$24.97 DOE with a $100 perfect attendance bonus for full-time, $75 for part-time.

Qualifications

• Experience as Caregiver in Memory Care Unit or Assisted Living.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Food Handler’s Card required.
• Experience with electronic medical records documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Assist with mobility, bathing, dressing, grooming, and dining tasks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and confidential environment.
• Monitor health, report concerns to caregivers/medical staff.
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance.
• Support orientation for new residents and staff as needed.
