Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking caregivers to support residents with daily living activities, meals, and social engagement. You will follow individual care plans and work closely with branch clinical leadership as residents’ needs evolve.

Experience with dementia care is valued. A high school diploma or GED is required, with CNA training to be completed within six months. We offer full-time roles with benefits and daily pay options.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Willing to complete Certified Nurse Aide course within six months of hire.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required or willingness to obtain certification.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Know the residents you serve, providing care based on their service plans.
• Assist in all aspects of a resident’s daily life, including activities of daily living, meal service, and social engagement.
• Appropriately communicate with branch clinical leadership when a resident’s needs change.
• Knowledge of how to approach and care for residents with dementia.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or one-year related experience.
• Willing to successfully complete the Certified Nurse Aide course within six months of hire.
• Willing to take additional training or education, which specific states may require.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required or willingness to obtain certification.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication.
• Competent in organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
