Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Certified Caregiver in Illinois to support residents with compassionate, dignity-based daily care. You will help with activities of daily living and foster meaningful engagement, contributing to a high quality of life.

The role requires an active CNA license, HS diploma or GED, CPR and First Aid, and strong communication and organizational skills. Benefits vary by status; daily pay options and PTO are included.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license in good standing is required.

• Willing to take additional state-required training.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Strong communication, organization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Know the residents you serve, providing care based on their service plans.
• Assist in all aspects of a resident’s daily life, including ADLs, meals, and social engagement.
• Communicate with branch clinical leadership when a resident’s needs change.
• Provide dementia-aware care and support.

Join our DYNAMIC team at Bickford Senior Living as a Certified Caregiver! The Certified Caregiver supports resident care within the branch, ensuring that Resident’s daily needs are met in a compassionate way that maintains their dignity, allowing them to live their life to the fullest!

• Knowledge of how to approach and care for residents with dementia.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle multiple priorities.


• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication.


• Competent in organizational and time management skills.


• Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
