Job summary

Avalon Memory Care in Carrollton, TX is hiring full-time caregivers to support residents with daily living activities and dementia care. You will help with bathing, dressing, grooming, meal support, and mobility, while implementing care plans and maintaining a clean, safe home environment.

Responsibilities include medication reminders, assisting transfers, and adhering to an Alcohol and Drug Free workplace policy. Prior senior care experience is preferred; CNA is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Must possess patience and understanding to care for residents with dementia.
• Must clear a criminal background check.
• Documentation of immunizations.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or a high school graduate.
• Experience with seniors is preferred; CNA is preferred but not required.
• Be able to lift, carry, push and pull 50 pounds.
