Job summary

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Read, write and speak English with clear communication.
• Pass criminal background check (Federal, State/CBI, Local, DMV, CAPS, DORA, OIG).
• Pass a drug panel including marijuana use.
• Willing to comply with state-required seasonal flu vaccinations.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to provide transportation for client in a personal vehicle.
• Ability to follow detailed care instructions accurately.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending and assisting clients with mobility needs safely.
• Prior experience as an In Home Caregiver or in geriatrics/post-acute care is highly preferred.
• Experience with dementia care is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities to enhance comfort and independence (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility).
• Provide companionship and emotional support to foster social engagement and reduce isolation.
• Medication reminders according to care plans and documentation of care provided.
• Monitor clients’ health status and report changes promptly to healthcare professionals or family.
• Support clients with light housekeeping, meal preparation and transportation to appointments or errands.
• Follow established care protocols while maintaining a safe environment for clients.

• Prior experienceworking as an In Home Caregiver or in related settings such as geriatrics, post-acute care, or outpatient clinics is highly preferred
• Experience withdementiaclients and their unique needs is highly preferred
