Job Details

Job Location: Parkview Retirement Center - Sanford, NC 27330

Salary Range: $10.50 - $18.50 Hourly

Caregivers are responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily life in a positive manner and environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Interacts with residents and staff in a professional, friendly and compassionate manner at all times.
• Engages residents in meaningful conversation, socialization and activity while providing personal care assistance.
• Conducts rounds to check on resident needs and responds to resident needs/requests for care promptly.
• Assists in transferring, bathing, dressing, and toiletry needs of residents. Lifting up 50 lbs is a significant essential function of the job.
• Reports any change of resident condition or concerns, or family and resident concerns to supervisor.
• Light housekeeping of resident rooms, including cleaning up spills or other accidents.
• Escorts residents to dining room for meal services.
• Serves meals to residents in dining room or resident rooms/apartments.
• May launder resident clothing and or bed linens.
• Attends mandatory staff meetings.
• Completes regular training to remain in compliance with State regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Job requires walking and standing for extended periods of time.
• Greets visitors to the community in a professional and friendly manner.
• Follows all OSHA, Fire, Health Department and safety requirements.
