Job summary

Brookdale is seeking caregivers to provide direct care to residents in a Maryland community. The role supports activities of daily living, personal care, and housekeeping tasks to maintain a comfortable living environment for seniors.

The position offers a $1.00 shift differential for 3-11pm, generous benefits for full-time staff, and flexible scheduling options to support work-life balance. Weekend manager on duty also assists the staff as needed.

Responsibilities

• Caregivers provide direct care to residents, recognize individual needs, encourage independence and treat each senior with respect and dignity.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming and other personal care needs, as well as help with vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping and dishes.
• Engage residents in meaningful conversations and provide attentive care.
• Based on state regulation, completion of training/certification may be required.

Base pay in range will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.
