Senior Helpers of Northern Colorado is hiring experienced professional caregivers to support clients in Fort Collins and surrounding areas. We offer mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and potential overnights with shifts and weekend differentials.

Earn $18.00-$21.00 per hour, with benefits for full-time caregivers. We provide extensive training, 24/7 staff support, mileage or travel time pay, and a friendly work environment dedicated to helping seniors age with dignity.

Qualifications

• At least one year of professional caregiving experience.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Legal identification and work authorization in the United States.
• Reliable transportation to transport clients and attend shifts on time.
• Ability to use an electronic clock-in/out and care documentation system via caregiver mobile app.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain open communication with seniors, their families, and staff.
• Provide personal care tasks such as bathing, mobility assistance, transfers, incontinence care, medication reminders, grooming, and dressing guidance.
• Provide companionship: conversation, meal prep, light housekeeping, errands, transportation, laundry, shopping, activities.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain open communication with seniors, their families, and our staff.
• Personal Care duties include, but not limited to:
• Bathing- Mobility- Transferring & Positioning- Incontinence Care- Medication Reminders- Oral Hygiene- Feeding- Toileting, Grooming & Dressing Guidance
• Companionship duties include, but not limited to:
• Conversation & Companionship- Meal Preparation- Light Housekeeping- Errand Services- Grocery Shopping- Incidental Transportation- Laundry & Linen Washing- Clothes Shopping- Recreational Activities- Organize Incoming Mail
• Any other task as delegated by family or staffing that promote successful and quality aging in place enhancements.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to prove at least one year’s professional caregiving experience. CNA not required but you are welcome to apply.
• Legal Identification and proof of authorization to work in the United States.
• Must have reliable transportation to transport clients and provide errand assistance, and ability to arrive at shifts on-time.
• Ability to use electronic clock in/out & care documentation system used by agency successfully through caregiver mobile app using a working SMART phone.

Preferred:

• Ability to transport client in a vehicle safely.
