Job summary

Home Instead in Winner, SD is hiring CAREGivers in the Huron area to join our mission of helping aging adults stay at home with dignity. We offer a range of shifts—days, afternoons, evenings, and overnights—and provide skills training. Starting wage is $18 to $19 per hour.

Responsibilities include companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, medication reminders, grooming assistance, and Alzheimer’s care. No prior experience required.

Qualifications

• Ability to treat and care for seniors with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
• Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance

Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.
