Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care - The Villages is seeking caring individuals to join our team as Caregivers. The role involves helping clients in their homes with daily living activities, personal care, transportation, light housekeeping, and companionship.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1+ healthcare industry experience.
• CNA License &/or HHA License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Provide mobility assistance, transfers, ambulation and positioning.
• Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
• Offer medication reminders and monitor adherence.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe home environment.
• Follow the client’s care plan and document care provided.
• Observe client condition and report changes to supervisor.
• Provide transportation to appointments and errands as needed.

Assisting Hands Home Care - The Villages: Caregiver

Position: Full Time/Part Time

Location: On-Site, The Villages

POSITION SUMMARY:

Our Caregivers are the backbone of our business. Caregivers will be tasked to care for our clients based on their needs, they will be in client's homes assisting them with activities of daily living. Activities of daily living include but are not limited to personal care, transportation to appointments, light housekeeping, etc. This position reports to the care manager and general manager of Assisting Hands The Villages.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a CNA/HHA, you will provide various services to clients in their homes, including:

• Personal Care: Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care.
• Mobility Assistance: Helping clients with safe transfers, ambulation, and positioning.
• Meal Preparation: Planning and preparing nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
• Medication Reminders: Assisting clients with medication reminders.
• Companionship: Providing emotional support, companionship, and engaging in meaningful conversations.
• Light Housekeeping: Performing light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for the client.
• Following the Client's Plan of Care: Adhering to individualized care plans and documenting provided care.
• Observing and Reporting: Monitoring clients' conditions and reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Transportation: Providing transportation to clients for appointments, errands, and other outings as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 1+ healthcare industry experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• CNA License &/or HHA License

COMPENSATION:

Hourly Wage: $16 - $19 / hourly
