Job summary

Safe and Sound Home Care in Oxford, MS is hiring dedicated caregivers for private duty, one-on-one care inside clients' homes. The role involves assisting elderly or disabled individuals with daily activities, personal hygiene, meals, mobility, and companionship.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care hygiene assistance for elderly or those recovering, including showering, dressing and eating.
• Help clients take prescribed medications and assist with mobility.
• Assist with mobility around the house or outdoors (appointments, walks).
• Plan and prepare meals for clients.
• Complete client shopping or accompany them on outings.
• Perform housekeeping duties and report incidents or emergencies promptly.
• Offer activities essential for daily living and assist with meals and related tasks.

This position is for private duty care in the Oxford, MS area. Safe and Sound Home Care is a family-owned business dedicated to helping the elderly and disabled live safely and independently at home. Our proffessional care givers work one-on-one to assist clients with a variety, including personal hygiene care, great companionship, meals, nutritions and much more. We are looking for dedicated, entergetic, ethical care givers to join our team!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• provide personal care hygiene assitance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, enjuries or accidents by tending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating.
• Help clients take prescribed medication and assist ambulaton
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctors appointment, walks etc.)
• Plan and prepare meals
• Complete client shopping or go with them.
• Perform house keeping duties
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly incase of an emergency
• Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with meal, includig serving and other tasks if neccessary

QUALIFICATIONS

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve in continuously learn new skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
• Willingness to enforce help in safety standards
• High school diplmoma or equivalent/experience as a Caregiver.
