Job summary

Seniors Helping Seniors Ozarks in Springfield, MO is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home companionship and homemaker support to seniors in their own homes.

Caregivers will assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands, medication reminders, and personal care while upholding dignity and independence. Enjoy a flexible schedule and the opportunity to earn extra income with SHS.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship to clients in their homes
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks (laundry, vacuuming, dishes)
• Run errands and do shopping as needed
• Prepare meals and provide meal reminders
• Provide medication reminders
• Assist with pet care and light yard work
• Offer light handyman services and overnight supervision
• Transport clients to appointments or outings
• Arrive on time for all services and maintain service documentation
• Report changes in client condition to office staff
• Communicate regularly with the office and participate in in-service trainings Clock in/out via care management system

Companionship and Homemaker Duties may include

• Provide Companionship
• Assist with Light Housekeeping such as laundry, vacuuming, washing dishes, etc…

• Overnight Supervision
• Incidental Transportation to doctor’s appointments, family, or their favorite restaurant

Personal Care Duties may include

• Assist with Dressing
• Assist with Feeding
• Assist with Showering / Bathing
• Mobility Assistance
• Assist with Toileting / Incontinence
• Memory Care

Other Responsibilities

• Arrive on Time for all Services
• Maintain documentation of all services provided
• Record and report changes in the client’s physical condition, behavior, or appearance to our office staff
• Communicate regularly and proactively with our office staff
• Participate in relevant in-service opportunities and other informational meeting when possibleClock in and out using our care management system
