Job summary

CareBuilders at Home is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide one-on-one support at clients' homes, helping them stay safe, comfortable, and independent.

The role includes assisting with ADLs, companionship, light housekeeping, transportation, reporting changes, and following care plans. We offer competitive pay, weekly direct deposit, flexible scheduling, benefits, 401(k) with employer match, tuition reimbursement, pet insurance, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Previous caregiving experience required
• HCA registration with the State of California - MUST
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable
• Ability to work independently in a one-on-one setting
• Willingness to learn and grow professionally
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions
• Availability for flexible shifts (including evenings, weekends, and/or nights)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required)
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• TB test within the last 90 days
• Spanish-speaking is a plus
• Must maintain client confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines

Responsibilities

Compensation & Benefits:

• $18.50 – $21.00 per hour (based on experience and certifications)
