Job summary

Masonic Villages of Pennsylvania – Sewickley Campus is seeking a Caregiver. This PRN role offers Days with Flexible Hours and is based on our beautiful campus in Sewickley, PA.

Starting pay is $14/hr with no travel required. You will support residents with daily living activities, companionship, transportation to appointments, light housekeeping, laundry, meal cues, and medication reminders, all while upholding our Mission of Love.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred, but not essential.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check.
• Sincere interest in working with the elderly.
• Satisfactorily completes orientation training.
• Valid Pennsylvania Drivers License required.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality companionship services to seniors.
• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, feeding, toileting).
• Assist in meal preparation and cueing for meals.
• Keep living areas neat; light housekeeping and laundry as directed.
• Transport residents to activities or appointments and run errands.

Masonic Villages of Pennsylvania - Sewickley Campus - is immediately hiring for a Caregiver.

What You'll Do As a Caregiver

As a Caregiver, you will carry out our Mission of Love by shopping with or for residents, accompanying residents for appointments, pet care, laundry, medication reminders, light housekeeping, bath/shower safety and social visits.

Our Caregiver Is Responsible For The Following

• Provides quality companionship services to seniors in their homes with specific services as outlined in the service plan.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living i.e. bathing, hair care, nail care, mouth care, feeding, skin care, and toileting. Completes and documents all care as assigned accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist in meal preparation and providing cueing for meals as indicated.
• Assists in keeping resident's living area neat to include light housekeeping chores and laundry as directed by the service plan.
• Transports resident to activities or appointments and run errands as directed by the service plan.

What You Need As a Caregiver

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred, but not essential
• Successful completion of a criminal background check
