Job summary

Masonic Villages of Pennsylvania - Sewickley Campus is actively hiring a Caregiver for on-site, PRN shifts with flexible daytime hours. Pay starts at $14 per hour for this role on the Sewickley Campus in Sewickley, PA.

As a Caregiver, you will support residents with daily living activities, accompany them to appointments, assist with meals, light housekeeping and social visits, following each resident's service plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred, but not essential.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check.
• Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality companionship services to seniors as outlined in the service plan.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, feeding, toileting and mobility.
• Assist in meal preparation and cueing for meals as indicated.
• Light housekeeping and laundry as directed by the service plan.
• Transport residents to activities or appointments and run errands as directed by the service plan.

Masonic Villages of Pennsylvania - Sewickley Campus - is immediately hiring for a Caregiver.

What You'll Do As a Caregiver:

As a Caregiver, you will carry out our Mission of Love by shopping with or for residents, accompanying residents for appointments, pet care, laundry, medication reminders, light housekeeping, bath/shower safety and social visits.

Our Caregiver is responsible for the following:

• Provides quality companionship services to seniors in their homes with specific services as outlined in the service plan.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living i.e. bathing, hair care, nail care, mouth care, feeding, skin care, and toileting. Completes and documents all care as assigned accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist in meal preparation and providing cueing for meals as indicated.
• Assists in keeping resident's living area neat to include light housekeeping chores and laundry as directed by the service plan.
• Transports resident to activities or appointments and run errands as directed by the service plan.

What You Need as a Caregiver:

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred, but not essential
• Successful completion of a criminal background check
• Sincere interest in working with the elderly
• Satisfactorily completes orientation training
• Valid Pennsylvania Drivers License required
