Job summary

Mosaic Management in Salem, Oregon is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide hands-on resident care in a supportive, team‑oriented environment.

You will assist residents with activities of daily living, monitor health, document care, and support mobility, meals, hydration, and safety with empathy and professionalism.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays is required; excellent communication in English and dedication to resident well‑being are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior caregiving experience preferred; healthcare or long-term care experience strongly valued.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Must demonstrate patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support seniors.
• Knowledge of assisted living, memory care, and related regulations preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, including assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Assist residents with meals, snacks, hydration, and feeding as needed.
• Support residents with ambulation, positioning, and range-of-motion activities.
• Monitor residents’ comfort levels and promptly address needs and concerns.
• Monitor and record vital signs, weight, and fluid intake/output accurately.
• Report any changes in residents’ physical, emotional, or cognitive status to the Caregiver Coordinator or Executive Director.
• Document all care, observations, and resident interactions in compliance with Mosaic policies and regulatory requirements.
• Engage residents through activities.
