Job summary

Mosaicms is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our senior living community in Washington. You will provide hands-on care, assist with daily living activities, and help residents maintain dignity and joy in daily life.

Responsibilities include monitoring health, documenting observations, and supporting engagement through activities. English communication is required, and flexibility for evenings and weekends is needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior caregiving experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Knowledge of assisted living, memory care, and related regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care and support, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Assist residents with meals, snacks, hydration, and feeding as needed.
• Support ambulation, positioning, and range-of-motion activities.
• Monitor comfort levels and promptly address needs and concerns.
• Monitor and record vital signs, weight, and intake/output.
• Report changes to Caregiver Coordinator or Executive Director.
• Document all care, observations, and interactions in compliance with Mosaic policies.
• Collaborate with team to ensure residents' well-being.
• Engage residents in activities and meaningful interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Resident Care & Support
• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, including assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.

• Monitor residents’ comfort levels and promptly address needs and concerns.

• Monitor and record vital signs, weight, and fluid intake/output accurately.
• Report any changes in residents’ physical, emotional, or cognitive status to the Caregiver Coordinator or Executive Director.
• Document all care, observations, and resident interactions in compliance with Mosaic policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior caregiving experience preferred; healthcare or long-term care experience strongly valued.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Must demonstrate patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support seniors.
• Knowledge of assisted living, memory care, and related regulations preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
