Job summary

Sevita is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide essential support and companionship to clients in community-based settings. You will help with daily activities, transport to appointments, and meal preparation while ensuring safety and well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 6 months to 1 year of human services or caregiving preferred.
• Valid, non-probationary driver's license held for at least one year.

• Ability to bend and lift to assist clients safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Transport clients to appointments using company vehicles.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Support wheelchair assistance and safe transportation.

Job description

NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.

Starting Pay

$16.25/hour

• Additional $0.50/hour for 1–4 years of experience
• Additional $1.00/hour for 5+ years of experience

Preliminary Requirements

• Proof of non-probationary driver’s license held for at least one year
• Ability to attend orientation (Tuesday–Friday, Daytime)
