Job summary

Sevita, including NeuroRestorative, seeks compassionate caregivers to support individuals with brain and spinal cord injuries and other challenges. You will assist with personal care, mobility, meals, and companionship to help clients live safely and independently.

Starting pay is $14.50/hour with education and experience differentials. Some roles include every other weekend; paid orientation and training are provided. Join a team committed to stability and making a difference daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months–1 year caregiving or human services experience preferred.
• Valid, non-probationary driver’s license held for at least 1 year with no restrictions.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Provide proof of a valid driver’s license and attend paid orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, including bathing, toileting, and hygiene.
• Transport clients to appointments using company vehicles.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
• Provide wheelchair assistance and ensure safe mobility.
• Offer companionship and meaningful social interaction.
• Help maintain the safety and well-being of each individual served.
• Use proper lifting and body mechanics to safely assist clients.

NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.

Starting Pay: $14.50/hour | Additional differentials for education & experience

• Additional $0.50/hour for 1–3 years of experience
• Additional $1.00/hour for 4+ years of experience

Must be able to work every other weekend
