Job summary

Right at Home of Central Oregon is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home support to seniors and disabled adults across Redmond, Bend and surrounding areas. You’ll assist with daily living activities, medications, grooming, meals, light housekeeping and transportation.

We offer flexible part-time and full-time schedules, paid training, shift differential on some shifts, mileage reimbursement, retirement plan and health insurance options, and 24/7 admin support.

Qualifications

• Caregiver experience preferred but trainable.
• Clean driving record required.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Compassionate heart and client-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one in-home care to seniors and disabled adults.
• Assist with medications, toileting, hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Prepare meals, light housekeeping, and assist with transportation.
• Support clients with dementia/Alzheimer’s care; training available.
• Travel within Central Oregon as needed.

As a caregiver with Right at Home, you'll provide one-on-one in-home support to seniors, veterans, disabled adults, post‑op patients, and elderly individuals from diverse backgrounds. Your tasks will include hands‑on personal care including helping with medications, toileting, hygiene and grooming support and assistance with dressing-- as well as meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation, and more. If you have experience in hospice care or with dementia or Alzheimer's support, that's definitely a plus! But we can train you from the ground up.

Job Locations

THIS JOB WILL LIKELY REQUIRE TO TRAVEL TO THE CITY OF BEND AND SURROUNDING AREAS. PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE WILLING TO WORK SOME OR ALL OF YOUR TIME IN BEND, AS WELL AS REDMOND. We have multiple other clients all around Central Oregon too, in: Prineville, La Pine, Madras, Sisters, Sunriver, Culver, Powell Butte, Crooked River Ranch, Terrebonne, and more.

Must be able to pass extensive background check including motor vehicle records check.
