Job summary

Family Resource Home Care in Bend, Oregon is seeking caring in-home caregivers to support clients with daily living activities. You will be matched with clients near your preferred locations and schedules, with a focus on safety and compassion.

We offer flexible scheduling, weekly pay, paid training, mileage reimbursement, and ongoing caregiver support. Prior experience not required; complete the Oregon state-required 8-hour training if needed, and join our team today.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Must pass state and national background checks.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable vehicle and auto insurance in your name.
• Oregon Home Care Pulse training (or complete training with nurse-led medication training if not yet done; paid).

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities (transport, bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Provide household support (cleaning, laundry, dishes) and meal prep.
• Offer companionship and engage in daily activities and hobbies.
• Dress, bathe and monitor client condition; report changes.
• Use tech tools for clock in/out, email, and texting as required.

Our New Bend branch services Bend, Redmond, La Pine, Sisters, Sunriver, Prineville, and nearby surrounding areas! We will find a client close to the location in which you'd like to work!

Pay $20-$21 per hour

Current scheduling needs:

• Caregivers willing to transport clients in their own vehicles
• Caregivers that are comfortable with long commutes
• Part-time and full-time hours available (flexible scheduling!)

Requirements

• 18 years+
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record
• Reliable vehicle
• Auto insurance with your name listed on the policy as a driver
• If you have not previously completed the Oregon state-required 8-hour Home Care Pulse caregiver training, you will be required to complete the training along with the nurse-led medication training before you can work with clients. You will be paid to complete both trainings!

What will you do as an In Home Caregiver?

Our caregivers support their clients in activities of daily living such as (but not limited to):

• Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments (we offer mileage reimbursement!)
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom
• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Tech-savvy caregivers (app clock in/ clock out, email, and texting required)
• Monitoring and reporting on their condition
